Enquiries to the Privacy Office of Investigations Canada must be in writing and include the enquirer’s full name and his or her reason for making the enquiry.

Upon receipt of a written enquiry, our Chief Privacy Officer will provide the person of the estimated reasonable cost to respond to their enquiry and request payment of that estimated reasonable amount in advance. The Privacy Office of Investigations Canada will respond within thirty days of receipt of that advance payment.
